The succesful road of Eurojackpot
Some lotteries are already decades old, but Eurojackpot isn’t one of them. It was established as a competitor to EuroMillions in 2006. EuroMillions is popular among many European countries, including the United Kingdom, but it now has to share its place with Eurojackpot. Interestingly enough, it took a couple of years before the first Eurojackpot draw took place. First countries needed to become a member. Eventually the lottery had six participating countries in 2011, which led to the first draw in March 2012. It became a success immediately, which led to more member countries. The addition of new countries is good news for Eurojackpot. It means that it now has a potential player reach of 270 million people, which is more than the 217 million of EuroMillions!

Many people have become a participant of Eurojackpot because of the huge amount of money money they can win. The minimum Jackpot is 10 million euros! It becomes more if there’s no hit. Once it even established a record of 90 million euros! There’s aways a chance you’ll be the lucky winner of the Jackpot. If this happens, you should claim your prize quickly. Winners usually have one year to claim their prize, but this can differ from country to country. Always read the terms and conditions of the Eurojackpot lottery in your country.
Increase your winning odds in a group
Do you dream about becoming a millionaire often, but you don’t know how to make this possible? Then it’s time to take action and become a member of Eurojackpot. It’s really easy to buy a ticket for Eurojackpot. Just go to a retailer or purchase it online. You have several options to play. A single ticket is a good idea if you just like to try this lottery once, but a group game is smart as well. With the last option you can share the costs and increase the winning odds. Besides that, it’s great to share the joy if there’s a win!
Take your share
Perhaps a calculation will convince you to take part in a group. Imagine that you buy a ticket for Eurojackpot of EuroMillions. It costs about 2,50 euros in a store or 6 euros online. A group is able to buy more tickets at once and share the costs together. Sometimes they even get a ‘group discount’. At lotteries it’s possible to buy 30, 50 or 100 tickets online. If a group has 50 tickets, this can be divided in 100 shares. One player can buy one share of these 50 tickets. As a result, the ticket prize is much lower. Don’t be surprised if you only have to pay 20 cents per ticket! Hopefully it will be your lucky ticket. If the group wins, the amount of money is shared according to the shares that every one has. It’s quite easy to calculate the amount you win in a group of 50 tickets. Imagine that you’ve bough 10 shares, which means 10 percent in the group. If some in the group wins 200,000 euros, you receive 10 percent of it, which is 20.000 euros. Good luck!.

How to claim your winnings?
There are two ways to claim your winnings. The first option is an annual payment, which means that you get a sum of money every year. The second possibility is to receive the complete amount of money on your bank account. Some winners choose this option because they can immediately buy something very expensive, like a boat. With an annual payment you might have to wait for a while. With both options you should be aware of the tax system of your country. Not very European country uses the same taxes, so look into this. For example, in Spain you have to pay 20 percent tax over a prize worth at least 2500 euros.
