The Lotto Plus 5 draw takes place as the name suggests 5 times a week running on the nights when there is no main UK Lotto draw; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Unlike other lottery draws, Lotto Plus 5 is a supplementary game that players can opt to take part in for an additional £1 when purchasing a UK Lotto ticket. For this £1 players take part in all 5 of that week’s Lotto Plus 5 draws. There are no additional numbers to choose as the numbers chosen for the UK Lotto entry are used.
